Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong met Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev in Shanghai yesterday. Ying welcomed Patrushev, on behalf of the Shanghai municipal government and Shanghai people, to attend the sixth meeting between China and Russia on institutional cooperation in law enforcement and security. Under the strategic leadership of President Xi Jinping and President Vladimir Putin, Sino-Russian relations are at the best stage in history, setting an example for good-neighborly friendship, sincere cooperation and mutually-beneficial relationship between big countries and neighboring nations, Ying said.
