Shanghai Party Secretary Li Qiang met Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, the president-elect of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly, in Shanghai on Saturday. Li congratulated Muhammad-Bande on his election as the president of the 74th session of the UNGA, and introduced the economic and social development of Shanghai. As the largest economic center of China, Shanghai is accelerating the construction of “five centers” and a metropolis of global influence with Chinese characteristics, Li said.
