Yangtze River Delta integration needs more demonstration zones with major projects, a collaborative innovation system and better regional financial integration with standardized regulations, Shanghai Committee of China National Democratic Construction Association has suggested. Integration of transportation, public services, food safety administration, water resources, judicial institutions and a data on government affairs should be accelerated, the committee said at a forum in Minhang District. Yang Chengzhang, deputy head of the committee, said they have identified five areas for urgent attention: the Shanghai free trade zone; investment, trade and finance; industrial parks and development zones; the commercial environment; and industrial development.
