The city's annual entrepreneurship week began on Tuesday at the former site of China's earliest cotton mill machine factory in Yangpu District. Over 1,000 entrepreneurs and investors will attend over 60 forums, project road shows and negotiating meetings during the six-day Global Entrepreneurship Week China to help the startup projects attract investment. Demonstration startup projects are selected for awards during the event to encourage more to follow the national government's calls for more entrepreneurship-focused courses.
