Lingang New Area is planning to add five “medium-capacity” bus routes in the future to improve public transportation in the area, expected to be completed in 2035. According to a Lingang official, the bus routes will cover the Nanhui area and Lingang logistics park in Fengxian District, adding up to 82 kilometers. Three of the lines will be core lines, filling the gaps between Metro and bus systems. The other two lines will be "sublines."
