At the invitation of Peru’s political party Peruvians for Change, Shanghai Party Secretary Li Qiang visited Peru from July 19 to 22 and met Peru’s Prime Minister Cesar Villanueva last Thursday at Peru’s Presidential Palace. Li sent China’s Premier Li Keqiang’s regards to Villanueva and said China and Peru are good friends and business partners, and China has always viewed the Sino-Peru relations through strategic and long-term perspectives. China hopes to exert complementary advantages with Peru to increase practical cooperation, and promote the sustainable and overall strategic partnership with Peru, Li added.
