TOURIST spots across the city will host a variety of activities and offer discounts or free admission to women visitors on the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8.

The Binjiang Forest Park, which is hosting a spring outing season on the day, will let in women for free.

Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden will offer a 20-percent discount from March 7-9 for women. Its admission fee is 60 yuan (US$8.8) per person.
