100 million passengers in a year put city in the big airport league 2016-12-13
SHANGHAI yesterday received its 100 millionth air passenger this year, making the city the world’s fifth to handle more than 100 million annual air passengers.
Shanghai follows London, New York, Tokyo and Atlanta in doing so, the airport authority said.
The passenger tally is for both the city’s airports combined.
