Bund's past glory cherished in revamp 2016-10-20
A major renovation in the Bund is near completion.
It involves a revamp of a historic market that will form a new shopping and art cluster with other classic buildings in the area that are being preserved, officials said yesterday.
The Central Mall and six other nearby historic buildings built in the 1920s on Nanjing Road E. will reopen to the public as "Bund Central" next year, according to Huangpu District government. The renovation started in August 2013.
