MORE than 51,000 visitors are expected to attend the 11th Shanghai World Travel Fair at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, which runs from today through Sunday.

The number of visitors is expected to rise by about 15 percent from last year, the Shanghai Tourism Administration said.

The event is also set to attract 570 tourism officials and representatives from more than 50 countries and regions around the world, it said.
