WPA 9-Ball China Open to be held in Pudong next month   2025-08-24

 

 

The 2025 WPA Tang Cheng 9-Ball China Open will be held in Pudong's Tangzhen Town from September 6 to 14, gathering participants from over 30 countries and regions, including the world's top 16-ranked players.

They will be competing for a total prize money of US$373,600. The male winner will pocket US$40,000, while the first-placed female player will be awarded US$36,000.


The tournament will gather players from over 30 countries and regions.

Han Yu, women's champion of the 2025 Chengdu World Games, will lead China's 9-ball national team for the Shanghai tournament.
Tangzhen Town will be organizing side activities including a billiards community culture festival to promote the sport during the event.


The tournament will be held at Tangzhen Cultural and Sports Center in Pudong.

Ticket-holding audiences can enjoy discounts in Tangzhen's shopping malls when they are consuming in categories like dining, gold and jewellery, and entertainment.
