Shanghai-based airliner Juneyao Airlines launches direct flight between Shanghai and Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, on December 6.
Shanghai-based airliner Juneyao Airlines launched direct flight between Shanghai and Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, last Friday.
The Shanghai-Hanoi flight is the first regular passenger route to Vietnam launched by Juneyao Airlines, and it will operate daily.
A new regular aviation route from Shanghai to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam will start on Monday, according to the carrier. The Shanghai-Ho Chi Minh City flight will run every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The launch of the two flights to destinations in Vietnam are Juneyao Airlines' latest attempt to better facilitate the Belt and Road Initiative by improving its aviation network in Southeast Asia.
