Shanghai Citizen Sports Park has a "new way to play" with the opening of baseball and frisbee venues   2022-09-08

With the Teachers' Day and Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, Shanghai Citizen Sports Park held an activity with the theme of "Thanksgiving and Reunion" celebrating these two festivals. The number of people coming to the park on a single weekend has remained around 1,000 since its reopening after COVID-caused closure, and more and more people are choosing to come in groups to experience new sports such as baseball and frisbee.

"Keeping up with the diversified and segmented sports demand, we have gradually adjusted the venues from having only footballs and rugby pitches to a multi-sports venue covering tennis, aeromodelling, baseball and frisbee since the park opened," the person in charge of the park said,"This event held this time is an active attempt to create a new scenario for our sports consumption."

Since the opening of the park's baseball and frisbee venues on August 6, over 1,000 people have come to the Shanghai Citizen Sports Park to experience them.
