第六届长三角博览会在上海开幕   2025-11-23

 

The sixth Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo opened in Shanghai last Thursday, showcasing immersive cultural experiences, recreational vehicle (RV) and camping exhibits, intangible heritage displays, and comics and gaming events.

Covering 80,000 square metres at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, this year's expo brings together 1,500 cultural enterprises and institutions from the Yangtze River Delta region and beyond, underscoring its role as a flagship platform for integrated cultural-industry development.

The three-day event features 33 immersive projects, 37 industry forums and 89 performances across six exhibition zones. It also highlights emerging technologies such as AI, VR and AR through an immersive project cluster featuring LBE exhibitions, VR cinemas and light-and-shadow shows.

At the Zhejiang Pavilion, visitors can explore Liangzhu Culture through a giant "jade bird," or step into a high-tech spaceship for a time-travel experience inspired by "Black Myth: Wukong."

Jiangsu Pavilion features Dudu, a robot guide that introduces visitors to Suchao, the Jiangsu Super League football competition.

Shanghai districts are also presenting new showcases.

Qingpu Pavilion features a watertown scene themed "A Glimpse of Jiangnan," with intangible cultural heritage displays and live performances. In its "New Scenery of Jiaoli" section, a 3D holographic cabin offers a digital preview of the future planning blueprint for Zhujiajiao ancient town.

Technological innovation breathes new life into ancient intangible cultural heritage.

Yunnan Pavilion highlights the province's lush landscapes, laid-back lifestyle and lively folk performances. The VR "Explore Yunnan" experience takes visitors on a mushroom-foraging journey, complete with roaming elephants and black-necked cranes.

Aksu Prefecture in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region showcases a digital archive featuring 36 intangible cultural heritage projects. It also offers a virtual reality experience titled "Impressions of Qiuci," which recreates the splendor of the ancient Qiuci Civilization.


Traditional opera performances from Guizhou

Guizhou Province brings together approximately 40 cultural enterprises. Here, visitors can appreciate silver jewelry and embroidery while also experiencing batik and Miao embroidery, all guided by inheritors of these traditional crafts.

The China Shanghai International RV Show and the Shanghai International Auto Trend Festival, covering more than 20,000 square meters, highlight the latest RV models, outdoor camping equipment, supercars, camping vehicles, RV accessories, self-driving tours and supporting facilities.

Over 300 exhibitors are showcasing over 500 RVs and trendy models across all categories, attracting RV enthusiasts with new energy RVs taking the spotlight.

The Yangtze River Delta Travel Passport offers discounts on over 100 cultural and tourism programs, including scenic spots like Taicang Alps Snow Live Resort and Hangzhou Tianmu Grand Canyon, as well as popular stage plays and talk shows, allowing holders to travel across the region with one pass.

The food expo serves as a hub for the cultural and tourism industry, fostering enterprise exchanges, cooperation, and innovation.
