The other side events include an exhibition on urban civilization, and inspection of the city of Shanghai from cultural and historical perspectives.
Meanwhile, a recently launched academic quarterly, titled "China Studies," would provide a new platform to China studies in the global context.
Edited by the Institute of China Studies, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, the quarterly would be published in both Chinese and English, providing a high-caliber platform for exchange of scholarship on Chinese civilization and China's development path from an international perspective.
