中国正引领全球人工智能创新潮流,谷歌亚太区高管表示 2025-08-17

Speaking with Yicai during the Google I/O Connect event in Shanghai last Wednesday, Kizilbash highlighted standout innovations by Chinese teams, such as the artificial intelligence-powered language learning app Talk Me and the photo editor AI Mirror. Both have gained traction abroad, with AI Mirror ranking among the top 20 AI applications globally.
The California-headquartered tech giant organizes developer sessions such as Google I/O Connect to empower coders with the skills and tools to create successful products.
Stanley Chen, vice president of Google China and South Korea, said during the two-day event that supporting Chinese developers aiming at overseas markets is essential to fostering the next generation of smart applications.
Chen added that tech firms like Ant International and Xiaomi have worked with Google to incorporate its AI capabilities, enhancing their question-and-answer features.
Kizilbash, who oversees Google's accelerator programs in the Asia-Pacific, identified AI infrastructure and tools, fintech, education, and healthcare as the most dynamic startup sectors. Many new firms are creating AI tools to help businesses and developers harness the potential of thinking computers. Fintech and education, in particular, are seeing startups use AI to analyze market behavior and improve transaction efficiency, he added.
Although AI is already shaping these industries, Kizilbash believes this is only the beginning. He said AI, as a super system, will eventually permeate every sector.
Google I/O Connect is an annual series of developer events that typically begins in the United States before moving to China. While previous sessions in China focused on global expansion, recent years have seen AI emerge as the central theme.
