西太后珠宝展亚洲首展亮相上海 2025-07-30
The Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery Exhibition, marking its Asian debut, opened at Shanghai's Taikoo Li Qiantan on July 29 and will run through August 31. Jewelery has been a defining element of Vivienne Westwood's iconic aesthetic, and this exhibition explores the British fashion house's design language and subversive spirit. It features a curated collection of archival and runway jewelery spanning four decades—presented as a cohesive series for the first time—offering an immersive journey into the brand's jewelery design history.
Divided into eight themed rooms, each dedicated to distinct design eras, the exhibition traces the brand's evolution: from its punk origins and Wonderland-inspired fantasies to the eco-focused "Do It Yourself" philosophy, explorations of diverse cultures, 18th-century Parure-style creations, and a tribute to the house's iconic Orb symbol in "The Orb Tree" section.
The experience is enhanced by a mix of sounds, catwalk imagery, graphic wall collages, and video footage, evoking iconic past collections and runway shows.
From autumn, the exhibition will continue to tour globally across Asia, the US and Europe.
