中国吉祥航空在乐高乐园开业前首次推出世界上第一架乐高主题飞机 2025-06-17
The world’s first Legoland-themed airplane, operated by Chinese carrier Juneyao Airlines, made its inaugural flight from Shanghai to Guangzhou on Monday, giving travelers a playful taste of the country’s first Legoland resort which is due to open next month.
The Airbus A321 aircraft features a visually striking yellow exterior, painted in the signature color of the Legoland brand, and is decorated with pictures of popular theme-park rides that are built entirely out of colorful Lego bricks, Xinmin Evening News reported.
Inside the cabin, the Legoland theme continues. Signature characters such as Dada and Sun Wukong peek out from behind the windows, and plenty other surprise details can be spotted around the cabin, including on opening the overhead bins, turning the flight into a "theme park in the sky.”
"The Shanghai Legoland Jet is like a mobile Legoland soaring through the skies,” said Chen Jie, general manager of the resort, which will be China’s first and the 11th in the world. “It sparks excitement before visitors even arrive, turning every flight into the beginning of a creative journey.”
Shanghai-based Juneyao also has exclusively sponsored a themed ride in the Shanghai Legoland Resort, which is scheduled to open its doors on July 5, called the ‘Junior Flight Academy,’ where visitors can pretend to be pilots and enjoy an immersive flying simulation.
The Lego-themed plane will later also serve routes between Shanghai and other popular tourist cities such as Beijing and Xi’an. Juneyao Air and Carlsbad-based Legoland will also roll out ‘flight + park’ combo deals with reciprocal member benefits, to make travel and tourism services more connected.
