约500家公司将展示银发经济的全球创新 2025-06-05

International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare Shanghai 2024.

The International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare Shanghai 2025 (AID 2025) will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from June 11 to 13, showcasing global innovations in the silver economy.

The expo boasts a record-breaking exhibition area of over 50,000 square meters and will bring together nearly 500 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, including Japan, Germany, the United States, and Australia. Co-hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs and the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai, this 25th edition of the expo serves as a leading platform for presenting aging-friendly products, services, and technologies.

Japan leads the overseas participation with over 60 brands, while Australia makes its largest-ever presence at AID, featuring companies like ResMed, Goldilocks, and ABG, showcasing a range of products including health supplements, smart homewear, and household ventilators.

Major industry players such as Huawei, Haier, and Skyworth are participating, presenting smart home solutions, while travel agencies like Spring Tour and SCTS are showcasing customized travel routes for the elderly. IKEA and local home decoration firms are demonstrating aging-adaptive living spaces.

The expo spotlights cutting-edge "silver tech" innovations. Cosmo Robotics AI presents its next-generation wearable exoskeleton rehabilitation robot EA-II, weighing just 23 kg and designed for highly human-like gait patterns. Homecare & Healthcare will unveil the world's first fully autonomous driving wheelchair robot, equipped with a navigation system for indoor/outdoor obstacle avoidance and an eight-layer safety protection system. In medical devices, ResMed's Lumis bilevel non-invasive ventilator, supporting up to 30 cm H2O pressure, offers personalized solutions for COPD patients.

In smart apparel, Teng Fei Technology's intelligent ECG monitoring garment provides 60-second ECG analysis and 24-hour real-time tracking, operable for 25 consecutive hours, while Goldilocks' smart clothing uses embedded sensors to monitor health in real time.

"These innovations reflect three key shifts in China's silver economy: from functional substitution to human-machine integration in technology, from passive adaptation to active empowerment in product design, and from single-care to full-scenario quality-of-life enhancement in service ecosystems," said Ma Zhiwen, assistant general manager of Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co Ltd.

Simultaneously, the 2025 Silver Economy Innovation and Development Conference at the Kerry Hotel Pudong will analyze industry trends through three themes: new developments in elderly care services, expanded consumption scenarios, and breakthroughs in business models, offering authoritative insights for sustainable growth in the sector.
