The 2025 Winter Happiness Flower Market opens from Jan 1 to 22 at Jiabei Country Park in Shanghai's Jiading district, featuring diverse activities for visitors to experience traditional Chinese culture and feel the charm of Chinese New Year.
A flower market is taking place in Shanghai's Jiading district to celebrate the New Year, featuring diverse activities for visitors to experience traditional Chinese culture and feel the charm of Chinese New Year.
Opening on New Year's Day, the Winter Happiness Flower Market, which is in its second edition this year, will run through Jan 22 at the Jiabei Country Park.
During the event, visitors can buy New Year flowers, have a family photo shoot, join in interactive cultural events to experience paper-cutting and rubbings, as well as taste tangyuan, a kind of stuffed small dumpling ball made of glutinous rice flour. Also, special lucky bags and lucky draws are offered to visitors.
