The holiday atmosphere is growing as the 2025 Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival is drawing nearer in Shanghai. Tourists immerse themselves in dazzling lanterns at Yuyuan Garden in the city.
The 2025 Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival will kick off on Jan 1 and the preparation works are on full swing.
The event celebrating the Year of the Snake will run for 42 days and last until Feb 12. This will be the 30th anniversary of Shanghai holding the Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival.
Since its launch in 1995, the festival has become a landmark cultural activity for Spring Festival celebration.
