Shanghai Airport Group signs cooperation MOU with Korea Airports Corporation 2026-06-24
Shanghai Airport Group signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Airports Corporation in Shanghai on June 23 to deepen cooperation in areas including route development, passenger services, tourism promotion and airport operations.
Shanghai currently has direct air links to five airports operated by the Korea Airports Corporation — Gimpo, Jeju, Busan, Daegu and Cheongju. Flight frequencies are set to increase during the 2026 summer-autumn season, with China Eastern Airlines scheduled to launch a new Shanghai-Cheongju route in July.
